Total wins for Auburn in 2011
Since the consenus of most of the Bama fans(notice I didn't use the other "B"word) seems to be 5- 7 wins, I would love to hear opinions on here. What do you think guys ?

I was hoping for a 10 win season myself. It could be tough with the away games we have this year but my hope for 2010 was also 10 wins and that turned out Fairley well(pun intended) ! War Eagle ! By the way what part of LA are you in ?Tigerbill wrote:Some where between nine and 11, so I'll say 10

14-0 of course, lol No I'd say 11-2 , 12-2 if we get to Atlanta.
10-2 Regular season.

Gotta go with 10-2. The month of October is brutal and a young team might need some learning experiences along the way.

Re: Total wins for Auburn in 2011
I think it's too early to have even a good educated guess because of the amount of talent that Auburn has to replace. Highly touted signees don't always live up to initial expectations (see Tyler Love at Bama), so we will have a better idea after Fall practice. Having said that, here are my waaay to early predictions that are certainly subject to change after we have more to go on:
1. Utah State - Win
2. Miss State - Win
3. At Clemson - Win, but be careful. They took the national champs to OT last year
on the road and could have won that game, so look for them to be VERY
physical at home trying to give Dabo a signature win. Clemson signed an
outstanding class and I think they will be on the field early.
4. Fla Atlantic - Win
5. At South Carolina - Tossup. If Auburn is undefeated going into Columbia, it will be
difficult to come out that way. Trust me, I made the trip to Columbia
when SC was facing the undefeated #1 team and saw firsthand how
hungry they will be. If Auburn can stop Lattimore, they have their best
chance to win.
6. At Ark - Tossup in a shootout. Arkansas played their best ball towards the end of 2010
but they have to replace Mallett.
***I think Auburn probably goes 1-1 in these two games, but could easily win or
lose both.
7. Fla - Win. I think Florida is not as close to "back" as people think, but they are stocked
with athletes, so you can't overlook them.
8. At LSU - Loss. I think the brutal stretch catches up with Auburn. Les Miles hasn't ran
out of horseshoes up his butt lately, but if he does then Auburn can certainly
win this game. Ask me again about this one after we have seen both teams
play a few games.
9. Ole Miss - Win
10. At Georgia - Win, but again, ask me again before this game. Georgia signed a good
enough class to turn things around, but we have to see if they live up to
the hype.
11. Samford - Win in a nice scrimmage before the big one.
12. Alabama - Tossup. Anybody who predicts a winner this early didn't watch the Iron
Bowl last year. Bama loses some playmakers, but has more talent returning
than Auburn. I think this game has a good chance of deciding the SEC West
this year (as it should) and both teams have to many questions to make a
solid prediction yet.
Another undefeated season is not a realistic expectation, but another trip to Atlanta is certainly feasible. I see them going anwhere from 8-4 (watch out for Clemson, that early loss could set up a 7-5 season) to 10-2. Any of you want to take a stab at Bama's schedule? It's awful lonely over there anyway lol.

10-2 with losses to South Carolina and LSU. A lot depends on who steps up as the leader on offense and defense. We have the talent, just need to get someone yelling in the huddle.
