Apparently Coach Thigpen is the top candidate for the recently opened DB job at Texas. Brown does have ties to Thigpen from their days at UNC.

Sounds to me like Mac Brown is setting himself up for yet another, "Sorry Mac, it's just too great to be an Auburn Tiger!! Thanks for the offer, but no thanks.

Texas re-hired Duane Akina, who left Texas over a month ago to coach DB's at Arizona. He cited family reasons for returning to Texas. Thigpen was a candidate. Glad our coaches are still intact!!!!! Hopefully the Titans don't try to pry Rocker away from us.
